We are gearing up for our fall season here at Citrus Park Sports Association!!! Our 13-15U and 16-18U Junior and Senior Baseball players are required to attend skills evaluations this Saturday, August 10th at 10:00 am. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to check-in.

Skills evaluations are held to meet the players and assess their skill level and experience so that the coaches can select the players for their teams in a fair drafting process. Our goal is that the teams are as evenly distributed as possible, that all players are in a division that corresponds with both their age, and skill/experience level, and for each player to experience an enjoyable, competitive environment.

This is also an opportunity for our players and their families to meet some of our coaches and board members and ask any questions that they may have about the upcoming season.

Players should wear cleats, baseball pants, and bring their baseball glove and helmet. Bring your bat also if you have one. (If not, kids can share bats, so this is not as important.)

If you are unable to attend evaluations, please send an email to and include any information that pertains to your child's skill level (how long they have been playing, positions they have played, etc...) If your child is not able to attend, they will still be placed on a team. However, getting to meet the kids or having as much information as possible about their skill level ahead of time, is greatly appreciated by our park volunteers as it is vital to planning our season! We are looking forward to meeting our Junior and Senior baseball players on Saturday and an amazing season here at CP!
