All local Leagues are now required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams.
Procedures for Handling Difficult Issues at the Park
There are times when you may feel that your child may be treated unfairly by another player, parent or coach or possibly that someone may be disruptive to the enjoyment of the game. If you have any concerns like this or any other issues that need to be addressed, the board at Citrus Park Sports Association is available to help. If the manager of the team is not able to resolve an issue, or if you are not comfortable discussing an issue with your manager, the next step is to get the player agent for your division involved. To find the player agent for your division, click on the Board Members link under 'About CPSA' on the menu to your left. Then, click on the person’s name that corresponds to your division to contact that person via e-mail. If the player agent is not able to resolve the issue, it will then be addressed by the board. If we all work together, we can ensure that parents, volunteers, and especially the children have an enjoyable experience at our park.
