CPSA VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT FOR FALL 2021:
Volunteer Hours- Each family will be required to complete at least 4 volunteer hours during the fall 2021 season. (August – November 2021) A $60 volunteer fee will be assessed at the time of registration. The $60 fee will be credited to Spring 2022 registration if the minimum of 4 volunteer hours are completed.
Some examples of services that will qualify for volunteer hours are: Team Manager (registered), Team Coach (registered), Team Parent (registered), Board of Directors (elected), team scorekeeper, park clean up volunteer, pre-game field preparation, field maintenance, concession stand shifts, special events committee, fundraising committee, sponsorships committee, park improvements (landscaping, painting, etc…)
Volunteer Hours Opt-out Option- If you (or another member of your family) are unable or unwilling to volunteer your time for the required number of service hours you may choose to pay the volunteer fee in lieu of service hours. This contribution is separate from registration fees and any monies received in this context are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
CPSA VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT FOR SPRING 2022:
Spring Volunteer Hours/Fee- Due to the nature of the longer spring season (the spring season typically runs from January through May) each family will be required to complete at least 6 volunteer hours during the spring 2022 season. A $90 volunteer fee will be assessed at the time of registration. (If a volunteer fee was assessed for the same family for the fall 2021 season and all required hours were completed, the $60 credit from fall will essentially bring the spring volunteer fee to $30). If all 6 volunteer hours are completed during the spring 2022 season, the $90 fee will be credited to fall 2022 registration.
